what is pcc and how do you access it?
Hi Jayantha. The PCC stands for the Pensioner Concession Card. You get this automatically if you are receiving certain payments from Centrelink such as the Age Pension or the Disability Support Pension
If I have already been granted Commonwealth Senior Health Card will I have automatic access to it to ameliorate my out-of-pocket medical bills. If yes, then how much?
Hi Kalyan, thanks for reaching out. If you have had Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme expenses during the time it took Centrelink to approve and send you your CSHC then you can fill in THIS FORM to request a refund. If you need to make purchases now and have not yet received the card you can create a digital version via Centrelink’s mobile phone app which is handy in case you ever leave the card at home, CLICK HERE for the process to set up a digital version of your card.
Thank you Retirement Essentails for providing the link on how to download the Centrelink app. I am a tech/IT dinosaur yet I was able to follow the instructions that your link led me to & I was able to install the Centrelink App on my Mobile. Very much appreciated.
Also, in general terms I find yr articles most informative & very much aligned with what I need to know abt retirement issues, the old age pension & matters of that ilk. Thank you.
