Did Centrelink back date the pension payment because of their mistake?
Still waiting for a response re application for Seniors Commonwealth heath card which I apied for in February and had to send bank statement in March. Tried to follow up online then on phone with no luck. Department of Human Resources is not user friendly. Can you help with this one???

I would ring Centrelink again. Our key learning from dealing with Centrelink is that success comes when you are persistent (and also patient).
Don’t give up.
This is a wonderful service, staffed by caring and considerate and expert people.
The staff are on the ball and provide excellent results for the aged.
This organisation can slice through the bureaucracy and achieve results with a minimum of fuss.
