How good is scomo leaving deeming rates alone.
A quick search on my banks website, Greater Bank, shows their highest interest rate on a term deposit is 1%.
And the term, wait for it, 5 years.
That will now change, Kevin. Interest rates are going up rapidly. Look at some banks
offering 2.40% for 18 months (Suncorp is one of them). CBA 2.25% for 18 months.
So far not much but just wait . . .
