I thought I was fairly well informed but I haver never heard of this Annual survey . Who are Natixis ? and what relevance does it have to us in Australia? Some of the findings relate to investment fundamentals and personal investment comfort.
I applied for the Age Pension ,16 weeks ago . There has been an RFI which I dealt with promptly, 9 weeks ago. Nothing heard ! Should I have applied thro’ Retirement Essentials ? Is it too late ?
Hi Bob, I am sorry to hear of the delays you are experiencing with Centrelink. Due to how Centrelink operate, it is difficult for Retirement Essentials to step in part way through a claim. For us to be of the most value it is best if we are with you from the start so we know exactly what information is in the claim as well as documents provided, history of requests made etc.
Fairly grim situation we appear to face. We finally retired last year in our seventies, only to find our pension plummeting and inflation soaring. We are getting nowhere near the returns we expected and have already lost around one seventh of our pension as the markets went down.
So what do we do now? It is certainly not easy to avoid the “mistakes” above as we seem to be facing an unprecedented situation.
I am 71 years old and my wife is 68. We own our house and have 350,000 is super. If we both retire now what will our potential income be?
